2022 Remodeled Home Tour

The owners of the home love to entertain and their existing kitchen was closed off with notable flaws in circulation and lighting. To better connect the kitchen and dining rooms of the home, the existing bearing wall was removed to create one larger space and to bring better daylighting in from the South facing windows. In addition, three (3) new windows were added to the West wall of the dining room for additional daylight and to add some visual interest to a previous large expanse of plain wall. The new layout for the kitchen island was intentionally made large and L-shaped to best fit the space, expand the countertop area, and allow for lots of seating. To capitalize on storage opportunities the existing coat closet at the base of the stairway was remodeled and enlarged for a walk-in pantry.
